GTA Men’s Soccer League: Week 10 Highlights, Standings & Playoff Race – Scarborough, Markham, Pickering, Toronto

Playoff Picture Heating Up: We Dem Boys on Fire, La Birk Clinch #1, and Golden Boot Race Tightens

Week 10 of the Toronto Markham Sunday Outdoor League delivered everything fans could want—goals, drama, playoff clinchers, and a few jaw-dropping moments that will be replayed in players’ minds (and group chats) for weeks.

Let’s break it all down division by division.

DIVISION A – Slip City Holds the Throne… For Now

Slip City continued their reign atop Division A with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over S.C.S.C., securing first place with 24 points. D. Grierson and T. Johnson found the net, while N. Pandikiu scored for S.C.S.C., but it wasn’t enough to close the gap.

Peter Niles of S.C.S.C. remains tied for the Division A Golden Boot lead with 11 goals, alongside Mohammad Awais of Brexit FC. Matthew DeLeo (DOC Athletics) sits right behind them with 10, keeping the race for top scorer as tense as the playoff push.

At the other end of the table, Stugtaz FC’s struggles continued, falling 7-0 to Gullit Gang FC, with M. Sattar bagging four goals in a dominant performance.

DIVISION B1 WEST – We Dem Boys Keep Their Dream Alive

If there’s a team nobody wants to face right now, it’s We Dem Boys.

They faced a tough Scarborough FC side in Week 10, but thanks to two absolute bangers from D. Browne and T. Sivarajan, they emerged 3-2 winners. That’s now four straight victories, making them the hottest team in B1.

The win keeps their title hopes alive heading into the playoffs, and their current form suggests they could be a nightmare matchup for anyone.

Meanwhile, Slime FC kept their grip on first place despite a 1-1 draw with Azkals FC. Scarborough FC still sits second, but their recent dip in form leaves the door open for We Dem Boys to potentially leapfrog them in the postseason.

The Golden Boot race in B1 West is equally thrilling—Muhammad Ejaz (Wonder Uncs FC) leads with 12 goals, but Justin Corday (Scarborough FC) is just behind with 10, while Rodrigo Libaque (Slime FC) and Evan Soumbas (We Dem Boys) both sit at 9.

DIVISION B1 EAST – La Birk FC Clinch #1 Seed

La Birk FC made it official—they’ve clinched first place in B1 East and will head into the playoffs as the #1 seed after dismantling FC Kudas 6-1. Bilaal  stole the show with a hat-trick, reminding everyone why they’ve been so dominant all season.

Durham United stayed second with a 3-0 win over Raid FC, while Unknown FC edged Pique Binders 3-2 in a tight battle.

Michael Moise of Alianza remains untouchable in the scoring charts with 14 goals, but Andrea Xibilia (Durham United) is hot on his heels with 10. Dave Medley (Alianza) and Bilaal Suthan (La Birk FC) sit on 9, making the top scorer chase a subplot to watch in the playoffs.

DIVISION B2 – Metro and Brill Battle for Supremacy

Metro FC held onto first place after a gritty 1-0 win over Mad Lads FC, with A. Dahche adding to his impressive 6-goal tally. Brill FC kept pace in second with a 2-0 win over Toronto Phoenix FC thanks to strikes from D. McLean and C. Liddell.

The rest of the division remains tight—7 XI FC’s narrow 1-0 win over Indy FC and Markham United’s 1-1 tie with Black Aces could shake up playoff matchups.

Dillon McLean (Brill FC) leads the Division B2 Golden Boot race with 7 goals, followed closely by Dahche (Metro FC) and Pierre Louis Ferde (Metro FC) on 6. With multiple players on 4 and 5 goals, the scoring title could still change hands in the final weeks.

Golden Boot Watch – The Stars of Week 10

Across all divisions, the top scorers continue to shine:

  • Division A: Peter Niles (S.C.S.C.) – 11, Mohammad Awais (Brexit FC) – 11, Matthew DeLeo (DOC Athletics) – 10

  • Division B1 West: Muhammad Ejaz (Wonder Uncs FC) – 12, Justin Corday (Scarborough FC) – 10, Rodrigo Libaque (Slime FC) – 9

  • Division B1 East: Michael Moise (Alianza) – 14, Andrea Xibilia (Durham United) – 10, Dave Medley (Alianza) – 9

  • Division B2: Dillon McLean (Brill FC) – 7, Ala Dahche (Metro FC) – 6, Pierre Louis Ferde (Metro FC) – 6

The battle for the Golden Boot is far from over, with several players still within striking distance. Expect these sharpshooters to be firing on all cylinders as the playoffs approach.

What’s Next – Playoffs Incoming

With just one week left before the playoffs, here’s what we know:

  • Slip City and La Birk FC have clinched first in their divisions and will enter the postseason as the teams to beat.

  • We Dem Boys are the form team of the league, and their momentum could carry them deep.

  • Several Golden Boot races are still razor-tight, meaning the final week could decide both playoff seedings and scoring crowns.

One thing’s for sure—week 11 is going to be pure chaos, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

If Week 10 was the appetizer, the playoffs are shaping up to be a five-star feast. Buckle up, because in the Toronto Markham Scarborough Pickering Ajax Sunday Outdoor Leagues, the only guarantee is drama, goals, and unforgettable moments.
