Indoor Soccer Toronto & Scarborough: Week 7 Delivers Goals, Drama and a Shifting Golden Boot Race
If you’re playing or following indoor soccer in Toronto, Scarborough, Markham, North York, East York, or Pickering, Week 7 delivered exactly what local players love—fast-paced matches, big scorelines, and a Golden Boot race tightening at the top. Across both East and West divisions, teams pushed the tempo and attackers took full advantage, combining for 28 goals in a night that kept standings and scoring charts in constant motion.
East Division: Ballers Hold Firm While Bafana Turn Up the Heat
Ballers FC remain top of the East standings, but their 5–2 win over Markham Asylum came with a new headline: L. Puveendram’s five-goal performance. That’s not just a strong outing—it’s the kind of night that instantly puts a player on everyone’s radar across Toronto’s indoor scene.
Markham Asylum, to their credit, kept working through the match and found two goals via K. Walters and C. Mazzuca. The effort was there, and against most teams, that output keeps you competitive.
Meanwhile, Bafana delivered one of the most complete performances of the week with a 5–1 win over Mandem FC. D. Armenis continues to climb the scoring charts, now tied at the top with 8 goals, while new contributors like D. Njila and D. Johnson added depth to an already dangerous attack.
Game of the Week: High North 6–5 We Dem Boys
High North edged We Dem Boys 6–5 in a game that never slowed down. D. Bayer Vieira led the way with a hat trick, launching himself into the top scoring tier.
We Dem Boys deserve real credit here. C. Cleland’s hat trick was outstanding, and contributions from A. Mukri and B. Gould kept the pressure on until the final whistle.
West Division: OG United Surge, Kroos Control Stay in the Mix
OG United made one of the loudest performances of the week with a 3–0 win over Black Aces. S. Sribalakrishnan scored all three, jumping to 7 goals and putting himself firmly in the Golden Boot race.
Golden Boot Watch
S. Sivasritharan, D. Armenis, and B. Martinez are tied at 8 goals, with several players just behind.
